Here’s a simple slow cooker shrimp recipe inspired by the idea of using just a few ingredients.

Slow Cooker Garlic Butter Shrimp

Ingredients

1½ pounds (680 g) raw large shrimp, peeled and deveined

½ cup (1 stick/113 g) butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 packet (1 oz/28 g) Italian dressing seasoning mix

1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional, for serving)

Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

In the slow cooker, combine the melted butter, garlic, and Italian dressing seasoning.

Add the shrimp and toss to coat evenly.

Cook on LOW for 30–60 minutes, just until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Avoid overcooking, as shrimp cook very quickly.

Stir gently once during cooking if possible.
